Sarine Karajerjian

Sarine Karajerjian is Program Director of Environmental Politics at the Arab Reform Initiative. She previously spent 15 years at the Issam Fares Institute at AUB, where she led work on strategic management, partnerships, and grant development. Her research currently focuses on the exile and trauma of Syrian refugee women in Beirut, as part of her PhD in Anthropology at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Policy Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from AUB.
